About Me
I grew up in L.A. County’s South Bay, fishing for bonito off the Redondo Beach pier, crunching on sand in my tuna sandwiches, and roasting in the sun until I was lobster-red.
By age 9, I knew I wanted to be a writer without having the slightest notion of what that entailed. I was practical enough to earn a BA in math & physics and an MS in computer science and worked several years as a software engineer in aerospace.
That career took a sharp U-turn when I quit to write full-time. I've since published 26 books in several genres and am always working on a new project. Occasionally, those projects have included screenplays and short films.
In between books, I ride dressage on a leased Morgan pony, swim laps, play Taiko, and folk dance with my hubby.
